Cat Devlin came to me saying, "Right now, I feel like my brand is a little all over the place. I've tried logo designers, but nothing really seems to have any soul in it."
That struck me instantly because I knew that her brand did have a soul...it just hadn't been drawn out of the mist yet!!
She writes gothic dark fantasy romance rooted in horror, mythology, fairytales, and grimdark. So, the designs needed to instantly communicate that vibe to her readers.
We bonded over our shared interests then I set to work designing her brand to feel like stormy seas, moths flying through velvet shadows, and fairytales doused in darkness.
