(Before I lose you...you don't need to be spiritual or religious to apply this method to your life or brand.)
I recently purchased my first home and as I was decorating, it hit me - my home is an altar...to myself.
Think about it!
I fill my home with items that I love. I keep it clean so that I can live in a peaceful, clutter-free environment. I put art on the walls that I admire daily. I plant roses and lavender in the yard so I can smell their floral scents every time I step outside.
From the color scheme to the chandeliers to the throw pillows on the couch, everything about my house makes me happy.
Everything in my house celebrates the person that I am!
In other words, my home is an altar...and I'm worshipping myself 😜
Your brand is also an altar.
But it's an altar for your customers.
I once saw this comparison and I think it makes a ton of sense.
Just as your desk is a place to focus your energy at work, an altar is created to focus your energy on worship.
So, just as someone would craft an altar to honor a deity, you should craft your brand to honor your customers.

To put it simply, an altar serves as a tangible representation of beliefs just as your brand serves as a representation of your customer's values and identity.
A brand should be a dedicated space where customers engage in meaningful interactions and transactions.
The truth is, when done correctly, your brand should transcend prices and products to become a space where your customers come to honor themselves.
Imagine what connections you could create if you used this perspective when working on your brand!!
When you reframe it this way, what can you do differently??
Maximalist. Gothic. Magical. Romantic.
